AI Study Planner
AI Study Planner Terms of service
Effective date: not yet in effect — this is a draft.
Last generated: 2026-09-30
The rules for using AI Study Planner. As with the privacy policy, the descriptive sections are true of the app as built; the sections marked as needing a decision are commitments the publisher has to make.
What the service does
AI Study Planner turns coursework into a study timetable. You enter your courses, assignments and when you are free; the app schedules the work, tracks the time you actually spend, and reschedules what you miss.
Accounts
An account needs a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself.
Acceptable use
REQUIRES_PUBLISHER_DECISION
What is prohibited, and what happens when it occurs. The app enforces rate limits and quotas technically, but the policy position is the publisher’s.
AI suggestions are suggestions
The AI features read a document, or an assignment you have saved, and propose something. They never write to your planner and never decide your schedule. Every proposal is shown to you for review and nothing is saved until you accept it.
Because a model can misread a document, you are responsible for checking what it proposes before saving it. Deadlines and weightings in particular should be confirmed against the original brief.
The plan is advice, and your course is your responsibility
Everything this app produces is an aid to planning: the timetable it builds, the priorities it assigns, the effort it estimates, and the suggestions it shows you. They are worked out from what you entered and from what your own history shows.
They do not replace your course materials. You remain responsible for checking deadlines, submission requirements, exam times and venues, and anything else your institution tells you — including where a deadline was imported from a connected platform, or read from a document by the AI. If the app and your institution disagree, your institution is right.
Services you connect
Connecting a calendar or a learning platform is optional. When you connect one you are also using that service, on its own terms and your institution’s, and those are between you and them.
This app does not control whether those services are available, what they return, or whether your institution permits the connection at all. If one stops working, the planner keeps working on what it already has, and you can disconnect it at any time.
Free and Pro
The planner is free. Courses, assignments, tasks, availability, the calendar, the focus timer, workload and analytics all work without paying.
Free accounts may hold up to 3 courses and 10 assignments. Pro removes both limits and adds the two AI tools, each with a monthly allowance.
The limits apply to adding, not to keeping. If Pro lapses you keep everything you already created.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play, and is managed there. Cancelling is done in your store subscription settings, not in this app, because only the store can cancel it.
Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
Refunds
REQUIRES_PUBLISHER_DECISION
The refund position beyond each store’s own policy, which the publisher cannot override but must state alongside.
Your content
REQUIRES_PUBLISHER_DECISION
Who owns the coursework a student enters, and what licence if any the service needs to operate on it.
Availability
REQUIRES_PUBLISHER_DECISION
Whether any uptime commitment is offered. The app is built to degrade rather than fail, but that is not a service level.
Disclaimer and liability
REQUIRES_PUBLISHER_DECISION
The warranty disclaimer and the limitation of liability. These are the two clauses most consequential to get wrong and are entirely a legal decision.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Your data → Delete account.
Suspension
REQUIRES_PUBLISHER_DECISION
On what grounds the publisher may suspend or end an account, and with what notice.
Governing law
REQUIRES_PUBLISHER_DECISION
The governing law and the courts with jurisdiction.
